Location is Genoa, Illinois; 1911. [*Glenn's middle initial on back of postcard looks like an "A" but is "E" on gravestone.] This source citation is for the text information written on the message side of the card by the boys’ mother, Mrs. J. W. JOHNSON (Anna). The postcard was sent to the Nels HAMMER family of Morrison, Illinois, but must have been sent inside an envelope or hand-delivered because there is no evidence the card was handled by the Post Office.
