Misc. Notes
The gravestone documented at
http://www.canadianheadstones.com/sk/view.php?id=2009
is believed to be her grave, but the date does not agree with the Saskatchewan death index. [1234] should probably try to obtain the actual certificate.

26-MAY-2024: http://genealogy.ehealthsask.ca/vsgs_srch.aspx lists a Jane SIMPSON d.17-MAY-1893 (Registration Number: 2572), but also a Jane Taylor Wuitou SIMPSON (sic - probably a transcription error) d.08-FEB-1894 Registration Number: 162

Findagrave MEMORIAL# 117051381 lists death date 26 Jun 1894, with burial in Fort Qu'Appelle Cemetery,
Fort Qu'Appelle, Regina Census Division, Saskatchewan; there is a gravestone photo but not all text is readable.

Fort Qu'Appelle - Lakeview cemetery ? - as suggested by a cemetery transcript card which lists the 26 Jan 1894 date.
Research

There was a Jane WINTON (entry #36) who arrived 27 JUN 1892 @ Quebec, from Glasgow, but that is after she married William SIMPSON. Though the entry does say she was headed for Qu’Appelle, which is where the marriage was. But also note that daughter Olive was born in 1888. Her age was recorded in the “Scotch” column and it looks like “17” or “27” but was transcribed as “29.” (I think 27 is most likely).
