It seems unlikely that Mary had two daughters named Mary alive at the same time. One might be a niece? The 1850 census did not reveal family relationships, but it did list two girls named Mary in the same household. The older one was specifically listed as ‘Mary E. BRAY” but the younger one was just “Mary” with no middle initial.
