Misc. Notes
The 1900 census states he was born July, 1868, in Minnesota, and this is consistent with his reported age of 31 as of 2 Jun 1900. His death certificate says, July 27, 1874, in Minnesota, though "1874" is a handwritten correction to whatever had been typed originally. It also gives his age at death as 59 years, 9 months, 1 day, which is mathematically consistent with the stated birth date. Only two sources give a month and since they agree on that, I will assume July is correct. But based on the 1900, 1910 and 1930 census schedules, he was born in 1868, in Minnesota. The 1920 census is very suspect because it says he was only five years older than he stated in 1910, resulting in an estimated year of 1872, but also in Minnesota. The Minneapolis obituary said he was 64, which gives you 1869 if you continue to assume a July birth. But the La Crosse obituary said he was 60, which implies 1873. Source [2033] claims he was born in Beshford [sic], Minnesota, but there doesn’t seem to be such a place. There is a town of Rushford in Fillmore County, which is not far from Lanesboro, where the family resided in 1870. [2031], [2029], [2027], [2030], [2209], [622], [324], [2427]

Lived in Minneapolis, MN, about 1895-1934. This is based on a notice about his father's funeral in 1895 [235], and he was listed as the informant for brother Perry's death certificate in 1932 (“Pary” on the certificate). Also there in 1924. [233]
The 1899 Minneapolis City Directory lists Julius as a fireman for the G.N. Railway.

1930 census states that his first marriage was at age 18, or 1886. Either this is wrong, or he had a wife before Carrie. [2030]

Grave location notes: Find Section E, stopping on the road along the southwest edge of the section. As of 2013, there are a few large trees on the southwestern edge; counting the 3rd tree from the northwest corner of the section, you should find one with a LARSON gravestone that has been partially enveloped by the tree. Following the row of graves running northeast from the tree, Julius’ grave is the 10th marked grave.
