The pension file offers two dates for the marriage: 24-MAR-1841 and 4-MAR-1841. The former is the date sworn to by the former Justice of the Peace who married the couple; this testimony is documented by pages 2, 6 and 20 of the pension file (as it appears on Fold3.com).
