05-FEB-2014: Santa Clara County Library was unable to locate an obituary for Howard. They searched the San Jose Mercury News, the Mountain View Obituary database, the Palo Alto Obituary Index, the San Francisco Genealogy Society pages, Obitsarchive.com, legacy.com, findagrave.com and the Santa Clara County Archives, and finally, ancestry.com.
