The marriage license application for her 2nd marriage, to Frank HECK, states that Lulu had not been previously married and gave her maiden name instead of WISECARVER. The same thing happened when she married Ernest HAMILTON, when she registered as STOTTS rather than HECK. [6876] [6750]

Erroneous Findagrave MEMORIAL ID 109611681, “Lulu Mae Stotts RUSK, 1881-1953.
two different stories about her on the page. First one appears to be a match to the gravestone, but the 2nd story matches Emma/Lulu C. As far as I can tell, our Lulu was never married to RUSK and Lulu Mae was never STOTTS. Looks like she was FREEMAN (as a previos married name).
Therefore this memorial should remove the story about our Lulu *and* remove the links to her family members.
There was a Lula May HECK who was born 27 Aug 1881 in Richland Co., Ohio. Mother’s maiden name Sarah SHANABARGER. By 1910 she had become Lulu M. FREEMON, still in Richland Co.
husband possibly Millard Albert(or Stanley) FREEMON Sr. Son, Millard Stanley Freemon Jr.’s findagrave (MEMORIAL ID 108283141) says his mother was Lulu HECK and links to Lulu Mae Stotts RUSK.
1940 census shows Lulu (as “Lulee Freeman”) had divorced FREEMON. That census being just
months before she married RUSK. RUSK may have died in 03 Dec 1942 (estate sale notice 1943).
