This could be the Nicholas STARMER (indexed as “Starmar”) who, as a widower, married Mary CARPENTER/CARPENDER (a widow), both of Nether Heyford parish, Northamptonshire, on 27 May 1786.
[8871] Though clearly that would make it a very late marriage for Nicholas.
There was a Temperance STARMER, dau. of Nicholas & Mary STARMER, bapt. 3 APR 1787 in Nether Heyford (and died 1788), but maybe that was a different Nicholas.
More likely, at least for his first marriage, is the marriage to Eliz WARD, 06-MAR-1747, at Harpole.
[994]An Elizabeth STARMER was buried 27-APR-1783, at Nether Heyford, wife of Nicholas STARMER the laborer. This might be his 1st wife.
