"Mrs. A. Flanders had came to town and while here fainted from weakness. She was taken home and continued in a semi-concious state, with occasional lucid intervals until Sunday when she peacefully passed away. She has been ill for nearly a year. She leaves a husband and three small children."

Misc. Notes
In 1865, Albert was living next door (though probably in the rural sense) to William Riley BATES, who would later marry Alberts's sister-in-law, Diana Amanda HANSON. [3224], [3225]

John FLANDERS was a witness to Albert’s first marriage [20]; that is probably his brother, who was living in Roseville Twp., MN, in 1880. [1509]

Family living in Irving, Kandiyohi Co., MN, at time of 1880 census; also living with them at this time were his younger brothers Murdock and Henry [461], because their parents had moved back to England. [460]

"Mr. Flanders was serving as a juror during the present term of court being held at Clark and on Tuesday morning had gone to the court house about 9 o'clock to be present at the opening of the day's session.  He had gone into the clerk's office to leave his overcoat and overshoes and, having removed them, turned around, gave one gasp and dropped to the floor.  There were several men in the room at the time and a physician was immediately summoned but to no avail." [3227]

Albert’s name was recorded as “A. W. FLANDERS” on his wife’s grave inscription. [1498, Memorial# 53117368]
