The outside of the letter also contains postmarks from Luton and Kingsthorpe but without legible dates. Currently only available as a first-generation photocopy, including a note about the letter written by Annie C. Johnson. Original was provided by Alice Eleanor “Elsie” Shakeshaft (nee Johnson) but its present location is uncertain; it may have been returned to Elsie and subsequently donated to an archive.
