2250. Two handwritten pages and one typewritten page of names and dates for the Charles WORTHINGTON family. Found in their family Bible (published 1831). Note: “Jane VANDINE” was originally written as “Jane BADINE” and later corrected by somebody else. The typewritten page dates to 1936 by S. E. WORTHINGTON. The typewritten version says Peter’s day of birth was the 11th, but the written version says “17.” The typed date for the death of Angeline says “27” but the written version says “17” and the year appears to have first been written as “1925” then corrected to “1923.” The day of birth for Israel is unclear in the written version - could be “11” or “4”; the typed version says “11.” The date of death for Mary Ann was written as “May 1921” but typed as “June 1st, 1920.” Samuel typed his birth year as “1871” in contrast to the written “1870.” There may be as many as six different handwritings on the original two pages plus two more on the typed page.

"Mrs. Emily E. Shaner, Hughesville RD 1, died at 9:55 a.m. today, Saturday, Feb. 18, 1961, in the Muncy Valley Hospital. She was 87.
She was born Feb. 1, 1874, the daughter of John and Mary Corson Edkin.
Surviving are a son, Madison D., Hugesville RD 1; a sister, Mrs. Ernest Temple, Montoursville, and a brother, Frank Edkin, also of Hughesville RD 1."
