The FreeBMD index shows that, recorded on the very same register page in the same district as this marriage, is the marriage of an Ellen Smith and another William Henry Collinson. It would appear that this was a double wedding of daughter and mother with son and father respectively. A search of the 1881 England census turned up one case of a father and son both named William Henry Collinson [462], [881]
