Since I have not found any birth record for a “Jessie STEWART” as a daughter of Duncan STEWART and Catherine CAMERON, I have concluded that Janet and Jessie are the same person (searched 1828-1835). Jessie was in the 1841 census but Janet was not, even though the data on both imply they were born before 1841.

Was living with sister Jane (Jean) and brother-in-law Henry Johnson at the time of the 1881 census (at West March, Monifieth, Angus). [669]
