The farm, Gyvervolden, is mentioned in “Norges matrikel Volume 4” (1904) (Norway's land register), page 79 (pdf page 92). Book was found on Google Books.
Gyvervolden is listed in the Nordre Fron section, under Kongsli nordre, along with Rova.
For Gyvervoldn, the owner's or the user's name was Hans O. WEGGGUM.
For Rova it was Hans AMUNDSEN.
On modern maps, the spelling is “Givervolden” and is not far southwest of Eide.
