but that genealogy does not list a son, John, from Abraham. However it does state in the notes that Abraham’s will mentioned a son, John (see transcription in Abraham’s Findagrave memorial).
According to Oakey Mertz, “Abraham Slade’s will dated 22 Nov 1825 proved 20 Aug 1847.”
