Duncan is not listed with the family in the 1881 census [1482], but reappears in 1891 [1483]. If he married, it was probably after 1902 (BMD).
Duncan was the informant for his father’s death. [1532]
Research
May have died in 1950. A London burial record lists a Duncan Mackintosh, age 81, buried 03-MAR-1950 (Ancestry.com transcript incorrectly says 1949) at St. John in Hampstead (Camden, Middlesex).

May have done some overseas travel in 1923. A passenger list on Ancestry.com shows a Duncan Mackintosh, age 54, arriving at the port of New Orleans, from Havana, Cuba, on 26-FEB-1923, aboard the S.S. Excelsior. Occupation given was “underwriter”; married. Nearest relative was Charles Mackintosh, brother, whose residence was 2 Egerton Place, London. Probably would be difficult to show how he got to Cuba. Should look him up on the UK-incoming passengers database for possible indication of when he returned to England.
