No direct documentation that Rebecca is Ann’s sister but the circumstantial evidence is very good that Rebecca is Joseph Parbury Chown’s aunt. Joseph was living with William & Rebecca STANTON in 1841 [1582] and Joseph’s brother, William, was living with the STANTONs in 1871. [4632] Also, William STANTON was a witness at the marriage of Rebecca’s sister, Anne. [4876] And John CHOWN was a witness to the marriage of William and Rebekkah. [4915]
