1850 census Springfield Twp. Franklin Co., IN, has a Samuel H. YOCUM, 28, with son, Thomas H. G., 10 months old. Samuel was born in PA. A Caleb YOCUM, 53, lives “next-door” with wife and 3 children. Caleb also born in PA. Samuel appears to have been living in Indianapolis, IN, in 1900.
