The 1920 census lists Lois with the surname PATTERSON and noted as the daughter of Victor PATTERSON, when in fact she was his step-daughter. [2589] The 1930 census correctly says “step-daughter” but still says her surname is PATTERSON, so perhaps she changed her name. [2592]
