There appears to be another Thomas REES, born 1807, in Carmarthen, but who in 1851, was living in Carmarthen, Wales, with a wife named Elizabeth. So it is possible that he is the one born 14 Dec 1807 in Carmarthen, unless another source can show who Rev. Thomas REES’ parents were. [4381] A third Thomas REES, born 1807, but in St Ishmael, Pembrokeshire, Wales, was living in Pembroke Dock, Wales, in 1851, with a wife named Mary. Yet another Thomas REES born in Carmarthen, ca. 1805, was living in Toxteth Park, Lancashire, in 1851, with wife Susanah. But still cannot find the Rev. Thomas REES in 1851; but he wasn’t with his wife.

In 1851 there was a Thomas REECE, age 48, as a “P. Pensioner” (occupation given as “Inpensioner” - a pensioned soldier who lives in a public institution) in Greenwich Hospital, Greenwich, Kent, but it lists him as unmarried and born in Cariff, Wales.

A Thomas REES, son of Thomas REES and wife Mary, was baptised 20-APR-1806, parish of St. Peters in the Borough of Carmarthen, Wales (from same database as Source [4381]).

Ancestry.com member “1_alanrees” posted a photo of a gravestone of a Thomas REES, which shows a death date of 17-SEP-1876, age 70, at Mynachlogddu, Pembrokeshire, Wales. But this could still be one of the other Thomases.
