In 1930 census there is a Lawrence BELL, age 34, born in Michigan, but it says his father was born in England and his mother in Maryland. The wife’s name is Dorothy, also 34, born in Michigan. Marriage was circa 1924-25. The couple are living in San Francisco, CA, that year. Lawrence is a Buyer for Mens Clothing, so that part is in the same industry.
A similar couple is in New York, NY, in 1925 state census. Both are 29. Only “US” for birthplace. He’s a salesman. Live at 32 West 88th St.
