There was a Mary McEACHEN, born 09-AUG-1875 in Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland, but her father was Angus McEACHEN; mother was Mary McCORMICK. - (ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk)

Some Scottish census records suggest Mary’s father was Colin and that Donald was actually a brother.

Another consideration is that her maiden name might have been MCKECHNIE / MACKECHNIE.
