Findagrave says his wife was Sara C. COOPER, who died in 1865. [1498, MEMORIAL# 31736761]
But Snell says George married Hannah Hiler and they were the parents of Susan who married Amos HOAGLAND. [4122, p. 475]
Hunterdon County, New Jersey Marriages, 1795-1875, says George married Sarah Cooper 30-MAY-1815.
Ignore the George Fisher age 80 in Burke Co., North Carolina, in 1850 census — George died in 1846!
In 1830, in Tewkesbury (location agrees with Snell), George Sr. was 50-60 and apparent wife was 30-40.
he was still there in 1840, now 60-69, wife? was 30-39
Possibly Sarah was a 2nd wife of George, if in fact the marriage to Sara/Sarah Cooper ws in 1815.
especially given that George was about 29 years older than Sarah (how do I know that?). and Susan was born in 1808.

MEMORIAL# 149020503 has a fairly good photo of the gravestone, but appears to list the wrong year of birth and age at death (inscription says 78 yr., 5 mo., 10 d.)
MEMORIAL# 124409289 has the right dates but no photo.
