Misc. Notes
Her name was given as Christian CAMERON in the marriage record of her daughter, Jean/Jane. [108] No other records have been found to support this apparent error. For example, no births were found from 1815-1843 in Moulin for surname STEWART with parents named Duncan and Christian.
Research
She may have had an older brother, John CAMERON. See Source[657] [657] on the right-hand page, line 10. Though that might be the John CAMERON born 27-JUN-1802, Blair Atholl, to Finlay CAMERON and Elispet SCOTT, because John & Anne’s first son was named Finlay.

There was a Catharine [sic] CAMERON who married a Duncan STEWART, 09-MAR-1816, in Fortingall (355/A), Perthshire. But my Catherine would have been only 13 at the time.

From ScotlandsPeople, only one Cath?rine CAMERON was born in 1803 in Perthshire: 29-OCT-1803, in Fortingall (355/A), to Duncan CAMERON and Janet McDONALD. The only one with a father named James CAMERON, was born in Dull (346/), 15-FEB-1800 and mother was Mary ANDERSON.
No Cath?rine CAMERON born to any parents in Weem, 1790-1805. Also none in Moulin.

A Katharine CAMERON was born 27-MAY-1804, Logierait, to Duncan CAMERON and Jannet MacDONALD.

Misc. Notes
From the parish of Moulin, Perthshire, Scotland [85]
Family at Coppagach Farm in 1841, 1851, 1861. [648], [657]
It is located in an area known as Glen Girnaig.

“Coppagach” is the spelling seen on old maps, e.g., John Thomson’s Atlas of Scotland, 1832, “Perthshire with Clackmannan” (upper right quadrant).

The “Coppagach” homestead appears on maps as early as 1783 (“Stobie’s map”). [2141]

As of 1861 it was reported that Duncan had 28 acres with 3 employees: 2 men and 1 boy. And the house had four rooms that had at least one window. [156]
