Misc. Notes
Henry’s death certificate says he died at #911 on West Fourth Street, [3630] which would have been a house across the street from the #914 reported in the 1910 census, but his obituary says #912, so the death certificate is probably in error. He died in 1917, and then the 1920 and 1930 censuses list his widow living at #912. As with 1910 when there didn’t seem to be a #912, there doesn’t seem to be a #914 in 1920. It appears that West Fourth St. was the dividing line between the 4th & 5th wards, such that the odd numbered houses were in the 5th ward (south side of the street), which explains why you don’t see any of the odd numbered houses in the 4th ward census pages. I couldn’t find house #911 in Ward 5 (in the census), so again that must be an error. You’d have to do a more in-depth study of the history of their house to figure out what was going on with #912 vs. #914.
