[3528], the period 1831-35 in Catharine’s report actually represents the years Derrick was receiving the payments until his death. Not clear why payments stopped before her death.

W. 7806) [1868, p.31], [3529] Served in 2nd Virginia Regiment under Captain George Johnson and Col. William Woodford, for 22 months. Enlisted at Leesburg, Virginia. Was in the battle against Gov. Dunmore in 1775.

His pension was paid out from 1831-1835, which supports the death year of 1835.
