There was an Ann GARDNER, possibly a sister of William, who married John TALBUT, 17-SEP-1811, at Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire. [994] And a widow named Ann TALBUT, age 57, appears in the 1851 census in Adstone, Northamptonshire; this census claims that a Joseph GARDNER, age 23. in the same household is her son-in-law. But that conflicts with the possibility that she is his aunt.
