Misc. Notes
Originally, William & Charlotte, with their baby, Elizabeth, were planning to emigrate with his brother David and his wife, Christian. They all went to Plymouth, England, at the same time, but the baby came down with measles and so was not permitted to board the ship. So David & Christian departed on the “Caucasian” as originally planned, but without William and his family. Unfortunately, Elizabeth did not recover and had to be buried in Plymouth, then William & Charlotte boarded the “Sibella” to Australia.
