In 1832, Carl moved out of the family home (when they were living at No.79, Sölvesborg), to No. 63. [3910], [3912], [4580]
Then, in 1838, he left Sölvesborg No. 63, to “indeterminate place.” This could mean that he left to seek work elsewhere without having a specific destination in mind. [4580] His marriage to Christina shows he eventually ended up in Jämshög, Blekinge, but could have been anywhere else in between. However, based on the date of birth of their son, Carl Wilhlem, he must have arrived in Jämshög at least by December, 1845. Following the death of Christina, Carl moved to Vånga, Kristianstad, in 1847. [4584] Then in 1854, he moved to Näsum, Kristianstad, where he later married Nilla BENGTSDOTTER. [4579]
In the household examination record spanning 1872-79, Carl was noted as “poor”. [2990]
