No natural children but adopted two Africans, Samuel MAKOTOKO (b. ca.1862) and Joas. [35, page 160] Joas was the older one and he later named his own son, Francis Coillard.
The IGI has an entry for a Christina MC INTOSH, born the same date but in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, to parents, Lachlan MC INTOSH and Christina STEWART. The discovery of sources [654] and [655] reveal that the IGI record misinterpreted the records from Edinburgh.
