Note that the baptism record describe’s William’s father as a “Servant” - so possibly not my ancestor John Starmer?
A William Starmer, age 59, in the 1881 census of Harpole, is married to an Elizabeth. BMD index suggests this could be Elizabeth Seymour.

1871 & 1881 census in Harpole have a William & Elizabeth Starmer + children.
Though 1871 census appears to mistakently give William’s age as 61 rather than 48, like Elizabeth. Both list children William and Ebenezer. In 1871 they are William Seymour Starmer, 13, and Ebenezer George Starmer, 9.
Elizabeth was born in Stafford, Dorset, England, circa 1821/22/23.
possibly died April 1890 (Harpole burial record).
Possibly the daughter of Henry & Mary Seymour of West Stafford, Dorset.
possibly had a brother, John, baptized 21 Apr 1826 and again on 30 Jan 1828.
