>> only 2 hits: “Cathren” in Auchterarder, 27-MAR-1848 (age not given in index) and “Catherine” in Kinfauns, 26-APR-1849, age 87. Although the latter is a good match on age, the location cannot be explained, based on last known residence.
1851 census for Perthshire gets 3 hits for Cath* STEWART: parishes Kenmore, Aberfoyle & Comrie, with Kenmore being the closest to Moulin, though the age is not as close. The ones in Aberfoyle and Comrie were born in those parishes. The one in Kenmore was born in Weem. None of the three households seem likely candidates. Death must have been before this census.

Research
Lowell Dean Stewart’s book suggests (indirectly) that Donald’s parents might be Alexander STEWART & Kathern [sic] CAMERON.
[2107] This assumes that Donald was the brother of Duncan STEWART, the ancestor of Lowell. The old parish register from Fortingall does show a Donald STEWART, baptized on 11-NOV-1760, who was born at Crossmount, to Alexander STEWART and Katrin CAMERON. However, there are 11 other Donald STEWARTs born in that parish in the period 1758-1768.
[1260] Lowell further states that Alexander had a brother named Donald. On the other hand, the actual entry in the parish record for the birth of Duncan shows his mother’s name to be Katharine CAMMING.
