His middle name, “Lowe” has not been confirmed, but his gravestone inscription does have “L.” as his middle initial. [1498, Memorial# 84090771]
At the time that his father-in-law, William TAYLOR, wrote his will, Thomas owed an unspecified amount of money and interest to William, and in the codicil, that debt was directed to be deducted from the inheritance of Thomas’ wife, Hannah, and distributed amongst her brothers, Robert C. TAYLOR, Mahlon TAYLOR and Thomas L. TAYLOR.
The 1900 census lists a grandson, Clarence MONTAGUE (b. Oct 1887) in the household but I have not determined who Clarence’s parents were. [3664]
If the death certificate listed as a source here is the right one, it mistakenly reported Thomas as widowed, even though Hannah was still alive. And it was his daughter who was the informant for the death certificate. [3673]
