Did Lars have a son named Per Ekstrand? not sure how that would have worked?
There was a Lars BENGTSSON born 12-FEB-1840 in Vånga, and it lists the father as Bengt SVENSSON, but the mother’s last name does not look anything like JONASDOTTER. (Ancestry image 115). Also, the age of the mother is wrong.
No other Lars BENGTSSON found in that year.
Found birth record for Lars BENGTSSON, 12-FEB-1840, as expected, with father listed as Bengt Svensson, but can’t make out the mother’s name, but it doesn’t look like Olu JONASDOTTER. Olu didn’t die until 1842, so what is going on here?
